What AI companion apps actually remember past conversations?

Aeliana is built around signed-in saved memory, so useful context can follow your account while staying visible enough to review, pause, or clear.

How private is an AI companion with saved memory?

Saved web memory is tied to account controls and is meant to be inspected and changed by the user. Do not put passwords, account numbers, government IDs, or private medical records into chat.

Can I review, pause, or delete my AI companion’s memory?

Yes. Aeliana frames memory as a control surface: review saved details, pause new saving when you want a lighter session, and clear old context when it no longer belongs.

What’s the difference between an AI companion and a chatbot?

A chatbot may answer one prompt at a time. Aeliana is positioned as a companion experience with personas, voice preferences, and saved context that users can control.

Getting Started

What is Aeliana?

Aeliana is the platform. Inside it, you choose specific AI personas with distinct tone, use cases, and behavior patterns. They are not real people.

Am I chatting with the app or an AI persona?

You are chatting with the selected AI persona. The app provides routing, safety, and controls; the persona provides the voice and interaction style.

What is the best first-session flow?

Start with Daylight personas in the directory, compare the roster cards for tone fit, then move to live chat. After Hours + Secrets are a private companion roster (18+ where legally permitted) with their own tone, access rules, and Settings support.

Does website chat remember me?

Guest chats are session-based. Signed-in accounts can enable saved web memory (web-only). "Remember me on this device" controls whether your sign-in persists across browser restarts; if you leave it unchecked, you will be signed out when you close the browser.

Chat & Personas

Are personas actually different?

Yes. Personas use distinct tone constraints and reply patterns. The design goal is a clear persona style, not generic assistant swapping.

How are Daylight vs After Hours + Secrets different?

Daylight is broad daily support. After Hours + Secrets are romance-forward for mature audiences (18+ where legally permitted), while remaining consent-first and policy-constrained. Saved web memory stays account-controlled in Settings rather than appearing on public Daylight pages.

Are After Hours + Secrets chats shared anywhere else?

No public sharing. After Hours + Secrets chats are not posted into public site surfaces, and any saved web memory can be reviewed or deleted from Settings.

Is After Hours + Secrets explicit?

No. After Hours + Secrets are 18+ where legally permitted, consent-first, and policy-constrained. Content is always subject to local law and the AI provider/model policies you are using.

Can I switch personas during chat?

Yes. Use persona cards or selectors to switch tone and persona context. You can move between Daylight and After Hours + Secrets rosters at any time.

Do companions know holidays and daylight-saving changes?

Yes. Aeliana injects local date/time context plus upcoming observances and time-change cues. Reminders are kept brief, date-specific, and non-stereotyped. For example, International Women's Day in 2026 is Sunday, March 8, 2026, and U.S./most-Canada DST starts Sunday, March 8, 2026 and ends Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Privacy & Security

How is website chat secured?

Requests are routed through protected backend endpoints with App Check support and policy controls.

Which providers handle messaging and delivery events?

Depending on feature path, Aeliana may use text and e-mail service providers for delivery transport and status events, plus other infrastructure vendors listed in the Privacy Notice.

What do Firebase, Pinecone, FAL, ElevenLabs, and OpenAI do?

Provider roles are feature-scoped: Firebase supports auth/hosting/backend, OpenAI supports text/model inference, Pinecone supports vector memory retrieval when enabled, FAL handles image workflows when used, ElevenLabs powers voice workflows when used, and text and e-mail service providers handle delivery channels when enabled.

What do we use Countly for, and do we disclose it?

In mobile-app surfaces, Countly is used for session analytics, crash diagnostics, and product telemetry under consent/rights controls where required. Yes, this is disclosed in our Privacy Notice provider section.

What are age-gate and external security signals on the site?

Age-gate and external security indicators may appear on supported private surfaces. These signals are informational only and do not replace Terms acknowledgement, verification checks, or jurisdiction-specific legal requirements.

Should I share sensitive data in chat?

No. Do not share passwords, account numbers, government IDs, private health identifiers, or private credentials in chat.

How can I request data deletion for website forms?

Are ads shown in user chat and experience pages?

No. User-facing product pages and chat remain ad-free. Partnership and sponsorship activity is handled through the dedicated Partners page.

Is Aeliana therapy or emergency care?

No. Aeliana is not therapy, medical care, or an emergency response service. Use licensed professionals and emergency services for clinical or urgent needs.

Where can international users find crisis lines?

When will iOS be available?

The web experience is live now. iOS and macOS rollout is still in progress, and the store links on this page will activate when each release opens.

Is this only an iPhone app?

The product is iOS-first. The website offers AI persona chat and profile pages today. Additional platform scope can expand based on quality and safety readiness.

Is pricing final?

The pricing shown on this website matches the current live tiers. If pricing changes later, the page and checkout flow will update before purchase.
